The Radius Mushroom hollow foams have been carefully designed for small condenser, short pencil mics and the MKH 50 - for users who particularly use the RAD Shockmounts. With the 'mushroom-like-shape', it eliminates the risk of the foam coming in contact with the RAD Shockmounts hoops. Preventing any risk of handling noise.
Each foam has a layer of non-slip silicone to prevent the foam from slipping off whilst recording. This comes in handy particularly when using additional Fur windcovers.
Inside the hollow foam you will find a ø40mm cavity. The cavity has been carefully designed to allow for 'dead air space' around the capsule, giving great isolation and clear sound quality. Each Mushroom foam has the ø40mm cavity.
Each foam can be used with or without the fur windcover too - giving you that little bit extra wind protection when needed.
All foams are made in the United Kingdom using a semi-open cell material that is also resistant to UV and moisture.
